What we do.
Grow Benzie accelerates the impact of grassroots projects, small-scale non-profits, and food and farming enterprises - all within four acres.
Purchased as an abandoned plant nursery by the Benzie County community in 2008, good ideas have continued to take root and grow throughout the organization’s history.

These projects work to improve the lives of children, families, and communities. 40% of hosted projects are entirely run by volunteers.

Grow Benzie is a low staff, high impact organization.
Volunteers time, talents, and treasurers are the backbone of the organization. Opportunities are available year-round and regularly updated.

Grow Benzie is a four-acre facility with ample space for hosting community events, workshops, celebrations, and gatherings.
The diverse campus includes a commercial Kitchen, Event Center, Studio Office, Sewing Studio, Apiary, Community Garden, and Edible Trail.
